Tar and Feathers
February 22, 2009
In smoking, as in so many other areas of life, the long term is sacrificed to the short term.
I am very sorry for your pain Miss… it is brave of you to share your story.
The tobacco industry has tared its own feathers. Making money on human weakness is just not ethical.
As a society we still have to realize, promote and legislate in defense of the fact that the health of the cell is the health of all.
What is good for one cell is good for the whole body and inversely.
Its time…
this is a very moving post. Really well said,
“The tobacco industry has tared its own feathers. Making money on human weakness is just not ethical.”
Hey Lee, so good to see you at Exuvia.
I was moved by her eyes and her pain. Brave of you to watch; I know it shakes you up a bit. I really appreciate her conclusion and her trying to share her pain to help others to understand.
See Lee later,
Exuvia
wait, wait. . . what if you were to make money from helping humans overcome their weaknesses?
oh wait, that’s not profitable, never mind.
whew, its difficult to keep my usual flippant attitude commenting on this one. very disturbing and sad.
well said Exuvia
